How a MagneRide bypass works
- Your suspension module watches every shock and ride height sensor circuit. Unplug a failed MagneRide shock and it stores a fault, shows Service Suspension, and limits your speed.
- Our shock and ride height simulators plug into those factory connectors and give the module the signal it expects, so no fault is set.
- Install any standard shock, air shock, or coilover. Clear the codes, and the warning stays off.
A MagneRide bypass is also called a Magnetic Ride Control bypass, a MagneRide delete kit, or a shock simulator kit. They all do the same job.

Plugged right in and cleared our code to inspect check suspension. Have about 1,000 miles and no issues. Highly recommend them.

My FM radio on my 2008 bmw 535 stopped working 4 years ago, displaying the SOS malfuntion code. This 20$ part is what i have been needing all this years to fix this problem, it was as easy as popping my trunk, removing the black panel...

Fits amazing . Made it easier to pin point the issue on my vehicle. The durability is great . Portability is good makes it quick n easy to install and not too bulky to be on the way.

Worked as advertised

MagneRide bypass FAQs
Quick answers to the questions we hear most.
A real person who knows these parts will answer, before or after you buy.
Send us a messageWhat is a MagneRide bypass?
A MagneRide bypass lets you replace failed MagneRide shocks with standard shocks or coilovers without the Service Suspension warning, fault codes, or speed limit. Shock simulators plug into the factory shock connectors and, on trucks and SUVs, ride height simulators plug into the ride height sensor connectors, so the suspension module sees a normal system. One kit covers one axle.
Will it clear the Service Suspension System warning?
Yes. Once the simulators are installed, the warning and the speed limit go away after the codes clear: within up to 40 ignition cycles, with a scan tool, or by disconnecting the battery for at least 30 minutes. If a warning stays on, our Service Suspension System warning guide walks through what to check.
Which kit fits my vehicle?
By model year and plugs. 2005-2014 trucks and SUVs take the 2005-2014 Kit, whether the glove box label says Z55 or Z95. 2015-2020 models take the 2015-2020 Kit. 2021-2023 Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, and Yukon take the 2021-2023 Kit when the label shows Z95 with no F47 or Z45. Cars use our car kits. Find My Kit gives you the exact kit.
Do I need programming or special tools?
No programming. The simulators plug into the factory connectors and are zip-tied in place. On 2005-2014 trucks and SUVs the rear shocks need our pigtail set spliced in (free with the 2-axle kit), and plugs with side-by-side latches use the included adapter clip. After installation, a ride height trim with a scan tool is required on GMC Denali models and recommended on others; any shop can do it in minutes.
Do you have parts for BMW and Mercedes?
Yes. Our universal MOST fiber optic bypass loop fits BMW and Mercedes-Benz MOST systems, and our D2B loop fits 1999-2005 Mercedes-Benz. A loop closes the ring where a failed module was, such as a satellite receiver, TCU, or CD changer, so the radio and sound work again and the SOS light clears. It can’t replace a failed amplifier.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Every M&P USA part. If one ever fails, we replace it at no charge. Questions before or after you buy go to a real person through our contact form, and our return policy gives you 30 days to return an order.
